Dear All,
Thanks a lot for taking care, staying at home, and observing government guidelines on navigating COVID-19. As we await global guidelines on managing, preventing and treating COVID-19, here are some best practices that you can follow.
1) Frequently wash your hands with soap & wash for at least 20 seconds each time. Make sure you lather and scrub them well. Pay attention to areas between fingers & your nails.
2. Pay close attention to your health. Lookout for any fever, cough, and flu-like symptoms. If you or anyone you know has these symptoms, please consult a doctor or government hotline (Swaraksha: 85902 02050) over telephone & see if you need to schedule an appointment.
3) Observe good personal hygiene. Keep yourself & surroundings clean.
4) Stay at home as much as possible. If you must go out, please wear a mask, and be careful of the surfaces you touch - please disinfect your hands with a hand sanitizer as required.
5) Cover your mouth with a tissue paper or handkerchief when you cough or sneeze.
6) Avoid close contact with people - especially those with flu-like symptoms, or anyone who has just returned from travel.
7) Follow advise of your government / healthcare agencies.
8) Reduce the number of times you go out for grocery shopping by ordering for longer terms (e.g. for 7 days at one time) instead of frequenting grocery shops.
9) Observe social distancing guidelines at all times.
